Get an Application ID #
Only for California: Go to the California Division of Boating and Waterways website to apply for an Application ID Number. You’ll need to enter it into our system when you reach the final exam.
Step 3
Pass the Exam
Every certified course is required to give exams with a minimum number of questions. Our course has 60 questions that are graded instantly with unlimited retries.
Step 4
Receive Boater Card
California: We auto e-file your exam results to the DBW and upon successful completion you will be emailed a temporary card until you receive your official card in the mail. Nevada: You can download your card immediately upon successfully passing the final exam.
